My wife Julia Weaver started Covenant Dream Hospitality on a shoestring budget after seeing too many abandoned children living in the streets outside her little restaurant in Monrovia, Liberia. She felt strongly that she must do something to help. At first, she helped a few children have a good meal each morning and evening at the restaurant. As time passed, she was able to send them to school. So Covenant Dreams Hospitality Children Welfare home was born and approved by the Liberian government's Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection. Today there are more than 20 children with 4 full/part-time employees helping Julia with the day-to-day activities such as: cooking, house cleaning, laundry, facility oversight and security, along with making sure they are getting good grades in school by tutoring those that need help. The needs are tremendous and additional support is required each month as we have many more children that are eligible for the program but cannot add them without the necessary funding.
We are grateful to God for his provision and how far Covenant Dreams Hospitality has come so far. We do appreciate all who support this necessary cause.
MOTO: Romans 12: 13 NLT “When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.”
Peace and Love to you all!
