We are Kevin and Angela Janzen, and we serve in Northern Portugal, partnering with another missionary couple from Hawaii to run a café where we welcome locals and travellers alike. We hope to create a warm space and share Christ’s love through meaningful connections, collaborations, and conversations. We have been able to love and serve our community through this ministry, support local businesses and artisans, and have created jobs for locals in need.

Because the café is on the Camino Way (Porto to Santiago), we meet people from all over the world. We also lead and host community events, facilitate workshops, and meet on Sunday evenings for prayer, worship, and Bible study. 

We love the outdoors! We love camping, surfing, playing music, and connecting people. We have a heart for hospitality and enjoy having people in our home for meals, games, learning the bible, playing music, and just doing life together with others. Thank you for your prayers and support; we couldn’t do this without you all.
