Kpaka, Musa

I grew up in a religious home where they participated in the majority culture religion. At age twenty I did not want to hear about Christianity or Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. My parents sent me away to learn Arabic since they wanted me to be a religious leader.

In 2000, I started having many dreams about Christianity and Jesus. In my dream, he appeared to me and said I should follow him because he is the way, the truth and the life. This happened many times and as a result, I decided to follow him and give him my life. I accepted him as my Lord and personal Saviour forever.

Because of this decision, my parents abandoned me completely. I went to a pastor and explained my dream to him and he led me to Christ after which I was baptized and joined the church. My family disowned me more when they heard that I was now a Christian. However, I found a new family in Christ Jesus!

After I graduated from high school in 2009 I went to African Bible College, University of Liberia. There I graduated in 2013 with a double major degree; B.A. in Education and B.A. in Biblical study.

I came back to my country to continue my vision of reaching my neighbors. In 2014, I started a church in a small town in the east called Daru where I grew up as a boy. In Daru 90% of the population are of the majority religion. There I started a ministry called The Way Ministry where we began planting churches, caring for widows and orphans and training pastors and church leaders.

Today, 85% of our church members have left the majority religion. We have established pre, primary and secondary schools. We have a strong evangelism team who have reached out to 600 villages with the gospel. Our vision is to reach out to more villages each year planting churches with leadership training while enlarging our ministry to widows and orphans as well as providing education.

I pray that God's people will join me in this fight to bring many to Christ.
